Smartlaunch Online Status

This is a demo page for the module Smartlaunch Online Status.
You can find it on Joomla extensions under Communication - Online status.

Installation instructions

1. Install mod_smartlaunch_status.zip on your Joomla website like every joomla extension.
2. CHMOD 777 permissions on your data.dat file (http://www.yoursite.com/modules/mod_smartlaunch_status/data.dat)
3. On your SL server go to Settings » Additional Features » Web Services.
4. Select the update interval you prefer and on the update script path write the path where the update.php file is (http://www.yoursite.com/modules/mod_smartlaunch_status/update.php) and press Update NOW.

Customization instructions

1. On your modules parameters locate where your data.dat file is.

2. Give a name for your computers like (PC, Computer, Client, etc.)
3. If you have consoles you should define their ID.
If you don't know the ID of each console, the easiest way to find it out is to open SL server and go to Settings » Client Computers » Grouping/Consoles and select one computer. Then press the Set Console Type button on your right and a dropdown menu will appear.
4. Write a text that will appear for each of the computer's status.
5. Define the css for the elements: status text, username, pc/console name.
